How Cervical Cancer is Diagnosed !





Cervical cancer is cancer that starts in the cervix, which is the lower, narrow part of the uterus (womb). Most cervical cancers are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). Cervical cancer can be prevented with regular screening tests and vaccination. Precursor lesions and early stages can be completely cured.
Early-stage cervical cancer generally do not produce any signs or symptoms. Signs and symptoms start to develop when the cells start affecting the surrounding cells of the cervix.
Consult to Cancer Tumor Board group who has group of doctors with different cancer specialties that includes medical oncologist, a surgical oncologist, and a radiation oncologist to determine the best possible cancer treatment and care plan for an individual patient.
